DEXSTR MOBILIZED AGAINST COVID19 WITH A FREE ACCESS TO A DEDICATED INQUIRO COVID19 PORTAL

A NECESSITY TO JOIN OUR EFFORTS DURING THE NEXT WEEKS 

Following current events related to Covid19 outbreak, Dexstr decided to participate, with its means, to the overall effort providing free access to a dedicated (login: guest – password: guest)

INQUIRO COVID19 PORTAL 

Currently a large amount of scientific publications is generated on a daily basis. Whereas it is important to go faster and faster, it becomes difficult to explore these data in an efficient way. As a starting point, we decided to help to centralize data from three main data sources dedicated to Covid19: 

• Pubmed – Covid19: All articles from Pubmed related to Covid-19 
• Science Direct articles from Elsevier on the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and COVID19 provided by Elsevier’s: expert & curated information for the research and health community on SARS-CoV-2 (the novel coronavirus) and COVID-19 (the disease). As of April 10th, 21000+ articles
• COVID19 Open Research Dataset (CORD-19): resources of over 47,000 scholarly articles, including over 36,000 with full text, about COVID-19, and the coronavirus family of viruses for use by the global research community.

FREE INQUIRO COVID19 GOAL

The goal is to help the scientific community to find insights coming from papers & publications to speed-up research processes finding relevant information. For that, the free Inquiro Covid19 Portal aims to provide to the scientific community some capabilities like:

• Search Engine capabilities to search across federated data sources 
• Structural & sub-structural chemical searches thanks to our partnership with Chemaxon 
• Metadata automatic annotation Engine to ease the way to characterize and classify the data
• Visualization tools like Heatmap allowing to visualize and filter the data in two dimensions.  

WE NEED EVERYBODY ON BOARD

You are the scientists and we want to help you.
We have already integrated sars-cov proteins related to the Uniprot initiative in a specific dictionary (info available here and here). For any requests around new public data sources and dictionaries that may contribute to the research effort please contact us at inquiro-covid19@dexstr.io
